The waterproof IP68 push-pull self-locking connector has the following characteristics:
1. Waterproof when inserting, and IP67 for contact part. After special treatment, it can reach waterproof IP68.
2. The plug is waterproof. To ensure waterproof at the end of the plug, the outer diameter of the cable must be round enough, and the assembly process must be well sealed, so it can reach the waterproof IP68 level. If the cable is not round enough, it can be molded through the tail injection molding to ensure that it reaches the waterproof IP68 level. The front end of the plug can be equipped with a dust cap. When the plug is not used, the dust cap is used to protect the plug from water ingress. When the plug and the dust cap are inserted, the waterproof level can also reach IP68.
3. The socket shall be waterproof and prevent water from entering the equipment. If the socket wants to be waterproof, it can also be equipped with a dust cap to protect the socket from water. When the socket is inserted into the equipment panel, there is an O-ring on the contact surface between the socket and the panel. When the socket is installed into the equipment, the socket shell will squeeze the O-ring to prevent water from entering the equipment, so as to reach the waterproof level of IP68.
