For special applications such as the nuclear industry, we use AISI 304 stainless steel, which is resistant to radiation and nitric acid corrosion.
For the medical industry, we recommend AISI 316L stainless steel because of the high corrosion resistance requirements in the medical industry.In addition, the stainless steel connector can be electrically welded to its housing with the same material device.The surfaces of these connectors have not been treated.
Aluminium alloy: suitable for connectors with aluminium alloy housings for applications with special weight requirements, such as aerospace industry, portable mobile equipment, etc.In addition to high mechanical strength and excellent corrosion resistance, the aluminum alloy housing surface can also be protected by anodizing.
Plastic material: some connector housing can be made of plastic.This type of connector provides excellent electrical insulation and is especially suitable for the medical industry.Grey or white polysulfone PSU and beige PEEK materials have excellent results.
