High current connectors have the following characteristics:
Plug: housing (copper plated nickel-chrome) - locking sleeve (beryllium bronze) - tail cap (copper plated nickel-chrome) - insulator holder (stainless steel) - insulator (PPS) - male pin core (copper plated) - wire clip (copper plated).
Receptacle -- enclosure (nickel-chrome copper) -- grounding ring (aluminum alloy) -- fixing ring (aluminum alloy) -- hexagon nut (aluminum alloy) -- locking sleeve (copper chrome copper) -- locking washer (copper plated alloy) -- insulator (PPS/PEEK)
Components of high current connector:
1, the shell is made of copper alloy processing, the surface is plated with chromium (pearl chromium or black chromium) or nickel, special requirements can use stainless steel;
2. The socket of the pin is made of copper alloy with gold-plated surface;
3. Insulator is made of engineering plastic injection molding with high temperature resistance and good insulation performance, such as PPS and PEEK;
4, can choose with or without the sheath, the sheath is made of soft engineering plastic injection molding, can protect the cable well.
Main technical parameters of high current connectors:
Ambient temperature -50℃ ~ +125℃
Working current 1.5~~35A (mainly related to the cross-sectional area of the contact parts)
Working voltage DC/200~~ 2.7kV, AC/150~~ 2kV (mainly related to the distance between the contact parts)
Test voltage DC/600~~ 5kV, AC/1.5~~ 4.5kV (mainly related to the distance between the contact parts)
Contact resistance 2.5~~10mΩ
Insulation resistance ≥5000M
Mechanical life ≥5000 times (connection and separation)
