The physical layer of AISG protocol supports 485 communication and OOK carrier communication.Early ALD equipment is based on 485 mode, and the base station and ALD are connected by independent AISG cable.However, due to market competition and cost and other reasons, more and more ALD adopt OOK communication mode at present, so that AISG power supply, communication signal and base station RF signal share the RF feeder, thus significantly reducing the installation complexity and system hardware cost.
AISG protocol defines the physical layer, data link layer and application layer of the communication between the base station system and ALD devices, and its protocol structure is shown in Figure 4.The physical layer adopts OOK Modem or 485 mode, both of which are half duplex communication mode.The data link layer follows the HDLC protocol, adopts the non-balanced communication mode, and supports the XID interface. It realizes the functions of scanning, link establishment, link maintenance and broadcast reset [8], and the data sending and receiving is completed through the microcontroller UART.The AISG protocol specifies that the delay between bytes of data frames should be less than 3 bit transmission time. For 115 200 bit/s, the time interval between bytes should be less than 260 μs.In order to prevent too long interval between bytes caused by higher priority interrupts, DMA transmission mode is adopted in this system. After AISG data frame is packaged, DMA transmission can be started directly.Data receiving is also completed by DMA. After receiving data, UART will be automatically stored by DMA, and the SCM will query and receive data regularly. In this way, the received data will not be lost and the CPU will be frequently interrupted in the process of large amount of data communication will be avoided.The application layer mainly consists of two parts, one is AISG command interface, which realizes the parsing between the LCD menu system command and AISG command parameters;The other part is the abstract AISG command interface, which completes the encapsulation and parsing of the INFO domain in AISG frame.The design of the protocol stack refers to the design mode of TCP/IP protocol, and strictly implements the concept of layered design. At the same time, zero-copy technology is adopted for the data between layers to ensure the execution efficiency of the protocol.
